Our beautiful premises reflects our desire to move into the modern world of dentistry, whilst still providing exceptional care to families within our community. Our dental room has been fitted with a ceiling mounted TV, to provide distraction should you wish to have it during your appointment. Our consult and waiting rooms have been designed to align with our modern, clean and earthy brand. We have rooms available for hire, and also welcome local and visiting professionals and specialists.

Principal dentist
Ebonie completed her Batchelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2012. She has been a dental practitioner for over 11 years, and is passionate about improving access to quality health care in regional and remote communities. Ebonie has worked with the Royal Flying Doctors in both South Australia and NSW, and volunteered at local childcares, kindergartens, schools and local sporting clubs to educate and promote good oral hygiene practices. Over this time, Ebonie has undertaken extensive training with dental sleep medicine, early orthodontic intervention, laser dentistry and cosmetic injecting. She is a certified Invisalign provider, certified Myo Munchee and Myo Brace provider and works extensively and collaborates with ENT’s, respiratory physicians, lactation consultants and other airway focused oral health professionals. Ebonie also has a special interest in improving function by treating tethered oral tissues in children and adults, such as lip and tongue ties.
Ebonie has many interests outside of work which include her two beautiful children and husband. She also loves coaching and playing netball and basketball, gardening, spending time at the beach with family and she loves her basset hound dogs. Plus, she also loves watching her beloved navy blues.

Janelle is just one of our friendly faces and voices you are greeted with at The Gums.
Janelle loves helping and assisting patients and health professionals in ensuring they have an optimum experience and in a timely manner.
Outside of work, she is happily married with two beautiful teenage children who are her pride and joy. She enjoys playing and coaching netball – having played well over 400 games, you would hope she would! She also enjoys watching her children play sport, family trips to their beach house in Robe and pottering in the garden.
Senior Dental Assistant
Jane is our wonderful Dental Assistant to Ebonie and is the face that greets you before your appointment. Having had more than two decades in the industry, she is one of the best going around at her profession, making sure our patients always feel at ease and comfortable before, during and after their experience at The Gums.
Outside of work she is happily married and has two beautiful adult children, and their partners, with whom she adores. She also loves walking and playing with her dog Bob, gardening and pot plants, caravaning and going to the ocean.
Treatment co-ordinator
Jorja is another wonderful face and voice of The Gums that meets and greets our patients and health professionals.
Jorja is always there to help our patients and answer their enquiries wherever possible and also works closely within the team ensuring everything runs smoothly. She is especially great with children that visit The Gums in taking away their fears of being at the dentist and always does this with a smile.
Her interests outside of work include playing netball in the winter and tennis in the summer, travelling and spending time with friends.
Oral Health Therapist
Bree graduated in Oral Health Therapy at Curtin University in Perth in 2013.
She is qualified to provide dental treatment for children up to the age of 18 and can also complete most treatment in adults.
Her passion is teaching good oral health and hygiene to children, ensuring they have the best start to their oral health journey. She has a strong interest in maternal health and is qualified to assess and refer for tongue ties.
Bree is also a primary school teacher in Murtoa and loves being able to teach children as part of her passions.
Outside of work, she has a wonderful husband and three gorgeous children. She just loves swimming, she relaxes by reading and enjoys singing.
Reception / Dental Assistant
Rosie has been a fabulous addition to our team with her warm, bubbly and friendly personality greeting our patients.
Rosie will be the one to answer your calls and be the pleasant face you meet at your appointments as well as assisting Bree, our Oral Health Therapist.
Outside of working life, Rosie enjoys keeping active by going to the gym and getting out and about for walks and picnics with her husband and two gorgeous kids.
